Voice integration and functional services

When conducting command and control operations, real-time reliable voice communication is a must-have. Typical situational awareness systems collect a myriad of data, but this data also needs to be communicated to tactical units on the ground in a timely and efficient fashion. For this reason, Navielektro has developed a set of tools for quickly and efficiently communicating the information collected using both message based communication and voice communication. The vision of Navielektro has been to combine key functionality needed for conducting command and control operations in an integrated operating environment: a Tactical Display Framework.

Military grade communication

The Navielektro TDF includes seamless integrated voice communication, which allows users to conduct voice related operations through one, common user interface. Typically, communication has been provided through cumbersome legacy systems that require special hardware to accomplish communications. Using our tactical voice communication solution, any kind of communication – both radio and telephony – may be conducted within one, integrated, standard compliant solution. Voice Tactical may be deployed as part of Navielektro's TDF platform, providing voice connectivity using the same hardware that is required to run C2 solutions. This provides lower total ownership costs with faster deployment.

  • Enables stand-alone integrated voice communication and integration with Cisco CME (Call-Manager Express), as well as widely used open-source software IP PBX solutions

Voice Tactical provides services such as radio, telephony, speech groups and audio conferencing, all of which can be accessed from the same workstation, using the same user interface.

NETRI

Voice Tactical can utilize the Navielektro Tactical Radio Interface (NETRI) hardware device in order to provide connectivity to virtually any tactical radio by VoIP enabling the radio system in question.

NETRI is a versatile device that enables voice and data functionality. NETRI may be connected to virtually any modern tactical radio or radio transceiver and may be powered through the radio with no external batteries required. In addition to radio, NETRI also provides input capability for laser goniometers or range finders, making NETRI a versatile part of target designation solutions.
