TRACK FUSION
Sophisticated fusion
Navielektro offers
Surveillance and Command and Control Systems usually consist of numerous sensors that collect, process
and display data on chart. Deciphering this data can be a daunting task for an operator, especially when it
comes to determining track locations. The data provided by each sensor may vary, at worst resulting in several
locations being reported for a single track. Navielektro's solution for this problem is a multi-sensor integration and correlation system, capable of track fusion.
Our system can detect and identify potential sea-based threats, utilizing inputs from
maritime surveillance radars, AIS receivers, GPS-based self-reporting devices and other external data sources.
Information services (databases), targeting and geospatial integration are also a central part of the system. Tactical
track information is collected from various sources, and this information is used to produce an accurate, coherent Single Integrated Picture for presentation, control, and
dissemination.
Navielektro's solution is capable of high-level
fusion and has been deployed in operational use at the
Finnish Navy, Coast Guard and Vessel Traffic Management
Systems.

How does it work?
Data received from different sensors is fused to provide the most accurate location for a track.
Fusion data is presented in a track stack, so that manually fusing or unfusing tracks also remains an option.
