Share important track data

Operators may co-operate with other authorities, nations or even users located on ships or on the move, which means that each user is viewing a different situation picture. This becomes an issue when collaborating, as successful collaboration requires a unified view of the situation. To complicate matters further, different actors often want to share some of the collected track data with each other, but not all of it. While the military may need to share data with VTS operators, security reasons might dictate that certain tracks, areas or track identifications should still be kept secret. Fulfilling all of these demands and requirements can be challenging for traditional situational awareness systems, which have not been built with information sharing in mind.

Navielektro offers a versatile solution for sharing track data with other users, be it between nations, operations centers and mobile units, ship-to-shore or shore-to-ship. Track data is collected and then distributed or exchanged either automatically or based on a set of rules. Users can control the track transmission rules directly from the JMAP user interface, so the operator can select a track for broadcast using different channels either ad-hoc or statically. Transmission can be cyclic or event-based, which means that Navielektro's track transmission solution can even be used with low-bandwidth tactical data-links or satellite communication systems.
