The i-VMS system may be equipped with built-in support for advanced management of ship reporting systems, voyage and berth management.

The SRS system fully supports IMO defined SRS (Ship Reporting Systems) and existing deployments include GOFREP (Gulf of Finland Reporting System) operating from Helsinki VTS. The system manages all international outbound traffic from the Gulf of Finland as well as outbound traffic from the national waters. The ship reports are processed in the center and distributed over an international, XML based, report exchange system. The ship reports from the GOFREP are shared in real-time with the neighboring countries Russia and Estonia.

Voyage Management includes planning of vessel voyages, cargo information, and cargo manifests as well as ISPS information and other similar requirements. The system may also be used for managing military and other visit permits to and from national waters. The system is capable of exchanging voyage and ETA/ETD information with external legacy systems using XML messages.

The berthing management system enables operators to use the software for basic planning of berths and activities related to berthing and other support activities. The berth management system may be connected to external billing or other similar systems using XML message exchange mechanisms.

All of the systems allow the user to manage vessel history and the system may optionally be equipped with web based reporting and management capabilities.
