i-VMS is a family of advanced maritime information applications and sensors that create a VTMS (Vessel Traffic Management System) or a Coastal Surveillance System. I-VMS has been designed to manage the requirements from the smallest to the largest systems. All operator configurations are setup based on a role that the operator assumes at login. The i-VMS system may be deployed to virtually all surveillance environments from mobile to fixed. The i-VMS employs a totally flexible use of the available display area. All functionality ranging from the situation picture, track lists, voyage plans, aids to navigation information, weather information and other functions may be placed on any of the screens at the i-VMS operator working position. The information at your fingertips technology reduces the number of required screens, keyboards, mice and other auxiliary equipment required at the operator working position.
i-VMS Consoles are custom-designed with the user in mind.The consoles may be designed to any requirement and budget from simple desks to adjustable working surfaces that suit all environments and operators. Navielektro is dedicated not only to delivering a state-of-the-art systems, but to offering a state-of-the-art operating environment as well. Especially in dense traffic areas the heavy use of VHF usually requires special attention to be given to design and planning.
The i-VMS consoles enable the operators to adjust the console in order to suit personal requirements. The consoles may include motors that adjust console height and similar adjustments at the press of a button.
Design of console and operator working environments may be done using sophisticated 3D modeling enabling the customer to visualize the environment before actual implementation.
i-VMS JMAP is a state of the art presentation and control system, based on the latest innovations in general HMI design.The JMAP software combines several functions in one workstation, radar, AIS, AtoN management, seamless handling of voyage management information, CCTV, weather information, air situation picture, multi-fuel chart and GIS presentation and optional MIL-STD-2525B symbology.
The multi-fuel chart system is capable of managing proprietary charts as well as S/57&S/52/Inland ECDIS, ESRI, VPF compatible chart information. The system is capable of instant messaging, secure E-Mail and tactical message exchange as well as multi-user geographic collaboration tools.
Other features includes dynamic vectors and labeling, multi-layer transparent maps, advanced multi-media record and replay, user definable layout, menus, colors and label sets, system monitoring, map overlay drawing tools, etc.
The JMAP can be connected to a very wide variety of different data interfaces, ASTERIX Radar, AIS, RADS (Radar Data Server), NETFMS-Track Fusion and Management System, etc.
The JMAP is supplied with displays ranging from 14" to 28" (1280x1024) to (2K x 2K) to 4:3 to 16:10 TFT LCD screens. The JMAP software and standard hardware is multi-window and multi-screen capable. The JMAP operator workstations may be deployed on powerful COTS Windows XP/2000, Linux or Solaris workstations or on self-contained embedded mobile computers or laptops depending on the operating environment.
