The i-VMS CCTV module contains functionality and support for control of CCTV or similar systems from multiple operator workstations. The connected CCTV systems may be controlled directly using the JMAP system in a chart based fashion. The CCTV systems may if necessary be equipped with IR illumination with increased night vision capability. The CCTV sensors are fully TCP/IP controlled and the resulting video image may be transmitted to the presentation systems using various video compression technologies. The system is capable of presenting the video image either as an embedded video window or using a separate display located at the operator working position. The CCTV system may optionally be integrated with existing vessel databases in order to support and enhance the identification process. The CCTV system may also optionally be connected to the track fusion and management system in order to provide for integrated camera tracking.
